About us

1st Sapcote (Methodist & All Saints) Scouts provides activities for both boys and girls through 3 sections -

Beavers for the 6 to 8 age group

Cubs for the 8 to 10 1/2 age group

Scouts for the 10 1/2 to 14 age group

Young people can then progress to Explorer Scouts (up to 18 year olds). This section also offers the opportunity for young people to train as Young Leaders. Finally, there is the Scout Network for up to 25 year olds. These 2 sections cover more than 1 group and are currently based in neighbouring villages.

Our aim is to provide age appropriate programmes through Fun and Adventure developing life skills and introducing young people to outdoor activities.

As part of the development of the village a new purpose-built Scout Building is being provided. This will offer a better environment for our activities compared to our current accommodation. Whilst the young people pay subscriptions, our aim is to keep these to a minimum so they are affordable to all families. We rely on fundraising to contribute to the running costs of the premises and subscriptions to the Scouts Association which, among other things, provides full insurance for the leaders and young people.

We need your help so we can continue to offer Scouting in the village.

Thank you for your support and good luck!

Yours sincerely,

Mr Louvain Coxall
